The GPS bike computer combines innovative map navigation and a professional training system with a well structured operating concept and exceptionally powerful hardware. Large buttons and graphics on the touch display intuitively guide you through the menu. Like your smart phone, you can return to the start menu at any time by pressing the home button. The side and bottom buttons can be used to operate the ROX 12 when wearing gloves. A WiFi interface, the detailed map with quick and easy routing and numerous training functions make the ROX 12.0 perfect for training and touring.
Innovative map navigation
There are various flexible routing options on the ROX 12, i.e. entering an address or coordinates, looking for a Point of Interest or simply marking a point on the map. You can also add intermediate destinations to an existing route or skip points during a ride. A unique navigation feature is the Draw my Route function. If a line is drawn on the map by hand, the ROX 12.0 uses it to create a route. This can be saved as a track or started immediately. There are three options when a route is created. You may choose between the easiest, the recommended and the shortest route. Additionally, surface type preferences (bike paths, roads, unpaved trails) can be defined in the advanced section of the Sport Profile. Maps of 20 European countries come preinstalled on the ROX 12.0 and additional maps can be downloaded for free.
Professional training system
The ROX 12.0 offers flexible training views and complete customization on up to six screens. Page layouts are suggested based on the number of values selected for each page (1-10). A total of 30 training views are available. The computer can be customized based on each rider´s unique needs. The central feature is the Sport Profile, which can be used to specify the training views, the sensors and the preferred routing options for each bike. The ROX 12.0 provides the TSS®, NP® and IF®, in addition to the OCA and OCP values of a Rotor INpower and Rotor 2INpower. Plus, the ROX 12.0 SPORT will pair to transmitters via ANT+ and BLE therefore offering a huge variety of functions and information.
WiFi connectivity
With built in WiFi, rides can be loaded straight on to the ROX 12.0 from Strava, Komoot and GPSies. Routes from the DATA CENTER or the SIGMA LINK app can also be transferred by WiFi via the SIGMA CLOUD. As soon as you log into the training portals, the data is automatically transmitted by WiFi. In addition, the training data is immediately available in the SIGMA CLOUD and can be synchronized with the SIGMA LINK app and the DATA CENTER. The ROX 12.0 will also connect to your mobile hotspot if a WiFi network isn´t readily available.
